    As Precoa’s Regional Director of Business Development, you will research and acquire new clients using innovative business strategies and pitches. Your skill at creatively and effectively presenting Precoa’s value propositions will be aided by the ease with which you break down complex concepts.

    Responsibilities

    • Help Precoa achieve its purpose of enriching life through meaningful connection by prospecting and signing up funeral home partners
    • Create new partnerships by negotiating and closing complex new partner agreements
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and current partners, including staff members, management, key stakeholders, and decision makers
    • Build and foster strong relationships with Precoa Field Managers
    • Manage assigned territory, which includes conducting research, creating leads, nurturing leads, managing leads through prospect journey, and using Precoa’s B2B CRM tool
    • Coordinate with the internal Business Development team and B2B Marketing team to create and cultivate funeral home prospects
    • Conduct B2B presentations of Precoa’s value proposition and business model
    • Present market analysis and financial proposals to funeral home prospects
    • Work with field management and the onboarding team to ensure successful integration of Precoa’s business model with new funeral home partners
    • Attend national and regional conventions and conferences
    • Maintain budget, track expenses, and submit expense reports pertinent to business needs
    • Participate in frequent travel 50% - 75% of the time (around 10-15 nights per month), which includes air travel and ground transportation 
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically and negotiate 
    • Ability to build rapport quickly and develop lasting relationships with internal and external customers
    • Skilled in presenting complex ideas in simple, easy-to-understand terms
    • Self-motivated, embodies an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Competent in handling stressful situations with professionalism and tact
    • Must have a current and valid driver’s license
    • Willingness and ability to travel
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

    Preferred Education and/or Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related Discipline
    • Experience in a Business Development role
    • B2B sales experience with independent business owners
